Deanne an Arts Activist, Human Rights Activist and a woman who believes in equality She has been actively involved with exposing Indigenous Languages while writing the English Textbooks For DoE.
While presenting her Political Artworks at the Mbombela Show 2018 she made Contact of artists and together they have been striving to get the unexposed, yet naturally talented Cultural Artists, exposed and acknowledged - especially in the Mpumalanga Province. 2018 Mbombela Agricultural Show Art Exhibition Lerato joined up with Wellington Nwayo , Shane Hlope and the well renown Bob Mnisi. In just under a year of meeting they have 45 Mpumalanga Rural artists on the Artz Africa database and now going ahead to set up a permanent ‘home base’ to display and present their artworks.
Deanne has always believed that everybody deserves a chance in life and therefore due to her passionate nature does her best to motivate and assist people in empowering themselves. Besides Artz Africa Deanne is also a Contemporary Artist, Art Therapist and Publisher. To view her art please visit
Deanne started her Art Therapy and Art Classes in the 1990's in Johannesburg where she originally resided before moving to Mpumalanga in 1998.
